Great read, excellent tool for the aspiring entrepreneur

by D. Hollingsworth

A great read for the aspiring entrepreneur or anybody wanting to grow their business. I had the opportunity to write the book's forward and was pleased to do so because I have seen Warren not only implement each of the ideas in the book, but teach others how to do so as well. It has been very rewarding to see the book take off and have the accompanying website begin to get hit after hit as readers embrace the ideas and want more details and further thoughts.

This book gives great insight into what it takes to start a business from scratch and make it successful. Unlike most business books that start going downhill half way through, this one keeps you engaged throughout by using straightforward examples and proven methods, not to mention a sense of humor from start to finish. Being an entrepreneur is not easy, but as I read this book it felt like someone was actually telling me the true do's and don'ts as well as the real secrets to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Finally an understandable common sense approach to starting and growing a business. This is not theory to be used later but practical advice that a small business can use today. An "in-the-trenches", often humorous, look at what it takes to succeed in your business without having to suffer the pitfalls yourself. Great stuff!

Even More Praise for Game Plan...

It was a pleasure to have met you in Austin at the sales kickoff meeting. I have finished reading your book and am satisfied and rewarded with the results. Its value exceeds the book price tremendously, and I would recommend it to anyone that has an interest in being successful. As an entrepreneur myself I value the advice that you have lent. What I found most beneficial is the confirmation of business practices and mindset that you poses. I feel these same traits; almost page by page are my own words and thoughts. The book is reaffirming to me, and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you, and to wish you the best of luck as you continue with your Game Plan. -- Math Smith, EasyFile Document Management Solutions

Mr. Barhorst I just want to thank you for your great book. Starting of as a new agent it has really helped me and is also a great read. I also had the opportunity to listen to you speak in Savannah, Georgia a few years ago at A nationwide event and enjoyed your comments and ideas! Again I would recommend it to anyone. I know you are very busy but I just wanted to thank you for your insight and ideas. Like you said there is nothing wrong with stealing a few. My agency may be small now but I know it will grow to your size one day very soon. Nationwide should make this a mandatory read to all new agents as well as career ones. Again thank you for your help as well as time and consideration! -- Billy Staples, Agent, Bob Wilson Insurance
